This is by far the most expensive robot vacuum I have ever purchased, infact when I was placing this order, my wife thought I was crazy and even though I knew the iLife brand, I still wasn’t sure what I would be getting, but I must say the T20s is a game-changer for me! From the moment I started using it, I was blown away by the efficiency and performance.
First off, its dual functionality as both a vacuum and a mop is a completely insane. I’ve had other robot vacuums and mops in the past, but nothing comes close to the convenience and effectiveness of this all-in-one solution. It effortlessly vacuums and mops, ensuring that my floors are not just spotless but sparkling!
The cleaning power of this robot is top-notch. Its advanced features, like intelligent mapping and navigation, allow it to efficiently maneuver around furniture and tricky spaces, ensuring that every nook and cranny is thoroughly cleaned. Plus, the customizable cleaning schedules make it incredibly convenient – I can set it and forget it, knowing that it will maintain my floors and rugs without any hassle.
One of the standout features for me is the app control. I have not tried the compatibility with voice assistants, but I am sure it works just as well as the rest of it! Being able to control and monitor the cleaning process remotely from my phone adds a whole new level of convenience and tech-savvy delight.
Moreover, the robot is super quiet (except when going over my rugs, but that is my choice). I can have it running while I’m working or overnight without any disruption. My dog used to chase my other robots, but he will leave this one alone. Not sure why, but it’s definitely a positive in my book!!!
Regarding setup and mapping, this is nothing like my other robots. It only took 8 minutes to map my whole house (about 1200sqft). After that, this absolute “Dream” robot cleaned my house for over 90 minutes and only used 50% of its battery power.
Maintenance is a breeze. The dustbin and water tank are easy to empty and refill, and the overall maintenance requirements are minimal, which is a huge plus for me and the main reason why I chose the upgrade instead of the T10s to this robot. Expensive yes, but totally worth every penny.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this Vacuum and Mop Combo. It’s not just a cleaning tool; it’s a time-saver, a convenience enhancer, and a reliable partner in keeping my home impeccably clean. If you’re looking for a smart, efficient, and incredibly effective cleaning solution, this is the one to go for!

Pros
This T20s iLife robot vacuum and mop combo has consistently avoided getting stuck, demonstrating effective performance in both vacuuming and mopping tasks. However, akin to most robot vacuums, its cleaning prowess doesn’t quite match that of a large, powerful conventional machine. The accompanying app is commendable, allowing targeted room cleaning for both mopping and vacuuming tasks. Moreover, it reliably returns to its docking station without fail. The process of cleaning out and replacing water in the reservoir is straightforward, and the mop pads are effectively cleaned during the cycle. It efficiently halts cleaning, returns to the dock to clean the mop pads, and then resumes its task seamlessly.
Cons:
Unfortunately, the setup process for the app is unwieldy, compounded by the absence of clear instructions in the manual. Configuring cleaning zones proves particularly challenging, and the app interface lacks user-friendliness.
During the initial use, the roller and its compartment became densely packed with lint and fibers, causing the machine to halt. The accumulation resembled a tightly packed cigar, attributed to the novelty of cleaning a new carpet with an excess of loose fibers. Subsequent cleaning sessions proceeded without incident, suggesting the issue stemmed from the carpet’s condition rather than the machine’s performance. While the vacuum and mop function effectively, the shortcomings in instructions and app usability detract from the overall experience.

Updating my review after troubleshooting and using it for a few weeks.
First, I want to address my previous issue of the vacuum leaving behind a lot of debris. It turned out that it was clogged with dog hair. We have 3 Golden Retrievers that shed like yetis, so it’s not surprising that it got clogged. I’m not faulting the vacuum on that. What is frustrating is that there was no sensor/notification/warning that there was a problem. As it has an auto emptying feature, it didn’t occur to me that there may be something clogging it, and especially that it wouldn’t let me know. I mean my previous Roomba notified us if you looked at it funny, so I erroneously assumed this one would notify us, too. But it doesn’t. I just keeps going, and finishes the job without picking up debris. So now I just check for clogs every day when I empty the waste water and fill the water tank. Hopefully this solves the problem. When it isn’t clogged, it does vacuum pretty well on turbo mode.
Detergent. I’d love to be able to add my own detergent in the clean water tank, but the instructions say that it will degrade the tank, so not to do it. I’m not sure what material the tank is made out of that prevents you from using detergent, but this feels like a way to keep you buying their detergent that comes in a cartridge and is added directly to the water in the vacuum, not into the holding tank. This detergent has no smell whatsoever, and I’d love it if my house had that freshly-mopped smell every day. In addition, we are reactive to a lot of detergents, so we don’t love being forced into using proprietary products. We don’t seem to be reacting to this one, which is great, but I’d still much rather use my own than theirs. Plus, at the time of writing this review, it’s $40 for a 3-pack of replacement detergent cartridges. That’s insanely expensive, and wasteful. I’m going to try to find a way to refill the existing cartridge when it runs out. Otherwise, we’ll just run it without detergent.
Mopping. This does a decent job of doing a quick daily mop. It gets up footprints and light gunk very well. One of my dogs brought in a clump of muddy dirt, and I decided to see how long it would take the vacuum to get rid of the clump. It was slightly too big to be vacuumed up, so it turned into more mud when the mop pads went over it. That smeared the mud. I left it there to see if it would be cleaned up the next day. It took about 4 days for all of the mud to be cleaned. So this isn’t a heavy duty cleaner/scrubber, but for an every day cleaner, it does work well.
Accessories: you can check the status of the accessories (mop pads, side brush, brush roller, etc) in the app. They base the life of the accessories on hours used. After 3 weeks of daily mopping, my mop pads are at 51%. You can get an 8 pack of replacements for less than $50. This seems like the part that will have to be replaced the most often, and the replacement cost doesn’t seem to be outrageous.
Function: my Roomba (previous to this) bounced from room to room like a drunken pinball machine. It would go over the same location several times and miss some entirely. However, this is where this vacuum absolutely shines. It goes over the area the number of times you program it to (1, 2, or 3), and doesn’t return. This is a huge benefit, as the more time it spends on the same area, the more it eats up the battery. I love that it is so efficient and good at mapping. Definitely outshines the competition in that area.
Battery: it has good battery life. It can do my entire main floor on basically one battery charge. If it does have to be recharged, it goes back to the dock automatically and comes right back to where it left off when it’s charged again.
Going from carpet to hard floor: this is another area where it shines. It easily recognizes the difference between types of flooring and adjusts quickly. We haven’t had any problem with wet carpet or rugs.
Avoiding obstacles: does great at this too. Easily navigates around my dogs or whatever random things are in the way.
Cleaning edges: it does… ok. Leaves behind some debris if it’s close to the wall, even on the setting that’s supposed to get close to the wall.
Customer service: A+. They are quick to respond to issues and work hard to solve problems. I emailed them about an issue, and they sent troubleshooting ideas and a spare part, and then called to follow up to see if the problem had been resolved. They provide top notch customer service.
App: it took a minute, but I think we got it figured out. It’s very easy to enter in different rooms, and schedule different cleaning on different days. Right now I think we have it scheduled to do a quick vacuum/mop 6 days a week, and a deeper clean one day a week. I think. We’re still figuring it out, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s doing.
Overall: so far, after 3 weeks of daily use, we’re pleased with the purchase. The pros outweigh the cons. We do a manual deep clean once a week to get in the corners and under the cabinets and really scrub the floors, and combined with the daily cleaning, our floors look great. I can’t vacuum and mop frequently because of back issues, so this has been a lifesaver. I’m amending my previous review to add a star. I’m leaving it at 4 stars because of the issue with it not notifying if it’s clogged, and also the requirement that you buy their detergent instead of being able to add it to the clean water tank or refill their own dispenser. But overall, we’re pleased. I would purchase this again.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I want to love this, but so far I’m pretty disappointed. It mapped my house quickly and is efficient in its path through the house. It was very easy to set up and seems like it should work well; however, the floors just don’t get clean. After vacuuming, it leaves behind a ton of debris.
I’m going to try to troubleshoot, and will update my review if there is any change.

I am really satisfied and amazed with this sweeper, I had the iLife T10s and decided to upgrade to the T20s, the last model still works and its perfect, but I have a thing for new models of products, so what the hell decided to try it out. I am surprised how well it works besides the fact that it is beautiful. The camera allows it to not collide at all with furniture, tables or suitcases. It sweeps, mops with great accuracy and efficiency, self-emptying and mopping speck cleaning, it really makes your life easier 😍

It’s a super buy worth the investment it does the job excellently well! The only drawback being you have to prepare yourself with spare parts for mops or pads, for replacements due to wear and tear.

If there was ever a thing called excellence in robot vacuum, then it is the T20s, but it is super expensive, very expensive… However, worth every dollar, it leaves the floor super clean, it makes no noise at all, I mean none. Although it takes a while to set up. Definitely one of the best purchases for the home.

I resisted getting this robot vacuum because the old versions wandered aimlessly and didn’t work that well on their own. Well that’s not the case anymore. This navigates everything perfectly. It cleans the floor very well and picks everything up with very little intervention except to keep clean a few parts and water tanks changed. I can’t say it has great suction because I don’t know, but I know it works good enough to get the job done. It runs in our house in the middle of the night when no one is downstairs and you can hardly hear it. It’s very quiet compared to a traditional vacuum. The future is here. It’s time to get a robot vacuum. It’s expensive still but it’s worth it in the end. I can’t say it’ll last because it’s only 2+ months old, so we will see. I highly recommend this unit.

I have a husky mix dog and a long hair cat. This vacuum/mop is AMAZING! It works great! Super strong suction, huge capacity. I’ve been using it for over a month and still haven’t had to empty the vacuum bag! Mop works great too! I just wish that I could use a cleaner in the mop water. Battery life needs improvement. I have a 6 room house with a hallway. It can only vacuum half of it before needing to recharge.

I bought a boolean first. And let me tell you… Had it for 2 weeks and never could get anything right. Like it’s brain was fried. Returned and bought ILife T20 and it was night and day different. The ILife knew instantly what to do and got to work. This ILife T20 rocks!!!

It can detect the stairs and automatically empty the dust bag. That is exactly what I was looking for. Love it soooo much!

This replaced my other bot vac by a long shot! I love I don’t have to empty it 2 or 3 times each run like I did with other. Does a great job sucking the dirt out and into the bag at the end of it’s job every time. It runs each room, and then runs an edge clean around everything, as seen in the one pic showing the path it takes. It does have water/mop function, but not a full fledged mop, but as long as you mop a couple times a month (we’re all adults here, not much messes) the bot keeps up with keeping the floor clean. As you see from SS it only took about 10 more minutes on first run, where it has to map things out, than it does on it’s daily run. There were a couple days I didn’t run as I wasn’t home to keep an eye on it, lol. I ran it with an air monitor both by the base, and by the bot, as it started up, ran and ended with suction of debris bin… did register an increase of about 2-8 ppm increase, which is acceptable in my book. Pretty much anything that moves and stirs air will increase this reading, so…I did not notice anything leaking through the hepa filters. My stand alone fan/air quality monitor/air purifier, which is on auto mode and sits on the floor, did not activate at all during any of the cleanings (and it kicks on when I cook onions, so, yeah…very sensitive)My home is all hardwood and tile floors, with a couple rugs. Now about those rugs…there are some that the T20 just does not get along with, some it does just fine. This is a YMMV and the ones it doesn’t do well with….well, you just let it know on the map not to go there. Easy peasy. The rugs I do have that it can clean, it does well on too. You can mop, vacuum, or do both. You can set the way it runs, which order to do the rooms, how many passes, you can even manually drive the bot, etc…..very customizable through the app. The App – yes it asks for perms, yes it is like 99% of apps you get. They are all nosy. It can be glitchy at times, but for most part it is just fine and allows for great communication between you and your bot. I had no problems setting it up, connecting and downloaded an update for the vacuum itself. Note – it is only 2.4Ghz friendly, cannot do 5 Ghz. You can also use Alexa or Google to operate. I don’t like there isn’t a way for the app, or the bot, to let you know when water is out. You have to check. I’ve had no leaks, no messes, though the pad did get caught on a pesky rug and I had to put it back on, so bot doesn’t go near that one anymore. Still playing with settings and customization, but overall I am very happy with this little bot vac, and it’s predecessor now becomes my sons housewarming gift!

I had a Ilife V5S Pro but the T20S is much better and an impressive product.
Now I will share my house between the V5S Pro and T20S.

I’m returning it after using it for almost 3 weeks. The hardware is not bad, it has good suction power, and the battery is good. The mopping capability is good with a small annoying design flaw: the mopping fabric bends a little bit in the corners and when it mops it leaves more water than it should in the corners. My wood floor would show line marks after it fully dried. I could live with it.
However, the software part (the intelligence) was the deal breaker for me. I could not setup the app (I had it installed but the thing would not connect to the equipment). I had a tough time understanding the cleaning strategy to go from one room to the other… Object detection is non-existent, and it would be trapped in any wires, flip-flops, and other objects it finds on the way. It got lost many times screaming it could not find the base. I have two dogs, when it drove itself to a rug with dog poop and spread it all over the place it crossed the line for me. Even at the great price point, it has problems others had solved years ago.

Grabbed this to help automate our vacuuming, specifically of dog hair, and I like it overall, but it’s not perfect.
Pros:
* The app is pretty good and you can track progress of it easily.
* It mapped the rooms well at first go.
* The suction is decent enough and seems to get most of the pet hair.
* It does generally seem to deal well with most obstacles.
* Returning to charger has been easy/seamless when needed.
* It’s really quiet for how well it vacuums.
* It’s cute like a lil robot vacuum pet
Cons:
* After it got stuck once, it lost the map, which was annoying as I’d already set restricted areas and named rooms. I still haven’t been able to get it map properly and retain that map.
* While suction is good, it’s certainly inferior to our standing Ninja vac.
* The bumper can get stuck under edges and it seems to just fail out there and need a hand.
* Battery life doesn’t seem sufficient for a full-floor vacuum and we have a pretty small house.

First, the exhaust air is a concentrated stream that is aimed out the side, instead of aimed upward. This causes all the dust on your flow to be blown up into the air, where you will choke on it. What good is having a HEPA filter, if you are just going to blow the dust up into the air before you even get the vacuum port over it? The next major flaw is that the base does not have a HEPA filter. When the robot empties itself into the base, the base will fill that room with dust. I have an air quality meter with detailed particle size counts. When the robot empties itself, the room’s particle count more than doubles. If you have allergies or other conditions, this will make you cough and choke. The spinning side whisker is not well-designed. It is a straight brush whisker, so it ends up knocking debris away from the vacuum port, rather than into it. Maybe its just my one, but the most disappointing aspect, is the fact that mine came with terrible quality gears on the whisker motor, so you hear non-stop gear grinding sounds as it vacuums. The vacuum motor itself is very quite on ‘quiet’ mode, and the motion/drive motors are very quiet as well. If they hadn’t put terrible quality gears in the whisker motor, this would be a very quiet vacuum. Lastly, vacuum robots tend to pick up a lot of household items (screws, caps, coins, hair clips, etc.), so it’s important to have a clear bagless container in the base. Otherwise, you’ll have important things hiding away in the bag, and you won’t know it. Even a clean neat person will eventually make a mistake, and they could end up losing a gold ear ring, vacuumed up from under the bed. These things happen… I recommend getting a clear bagless dustbin instead. I could go on about other flaws… the app has over a dozen of them, like the inability to adjust to objects that are moved (it will keep skipping a spot that a chair used to be in), but, I do want to say what is good about it… It has a very respectably strong vacuum motor, and it has a really impressing mopping pattern that goes back and forth in a Y pattern. In 2x pass mode, it will vacuum and/or mop length-wise the first pass, and width-wise on the second pass. It does a good job at covering every inch it can reach. I just wish it wouldn’t kick all the dirt up into the air before vacuum can get to it. Enjoy.
